Tabatô - João Viana talks war in peace

"You think my film was selected for political reasons?" - João Viana has proved to be a mindful interview partner who doesn't back away from asking questions in reverse. Besides interesting philosophy about art itself, he also talks a special characteristic of his body, that gives him a unique view on films' visuals.

João presents his short film Tabatô in black & white with a slight touch of red. This is not just an artful expession on the surface, but the very way João actually sees our world. This is due to a genetic defect which limits his eyesight to just these three colors since childhood. Why the director is not a big fan of film schools and what his definition of art is - Short Talks Pure gives you all the insight!
